Lenny Marcus (www.LennyMarcus.com) has been a stand-up comedian performing at all the major comedy clubs in New York City for over thirty years. He has appeared on many late-night shows including the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon and the The Late Show with David Letterman.
He has performed at both the prestigious Just for Laughs Comedy Festival in Montreal, Canada four times, Just for Laughs Toronto, HBO’s US Comedy Arts Festival, in Aspen Colorado, Moontower in Austin, The Great American Comedy Festival, and Clusterfest in San Francisco.
Most recently, Lenny has been collaborating with former Saturday Night Live star Leslie Jones. Lenny co-wrote her hit Netflix People-Choice Award winning comedy special entitled Leslie Jones Time Machine, as well as her follow-up on Peacock entitled Life Part 2 and he was the executive producer of her hit ABC-TV gameshow, Supermarket Sweep.
They have done several other projects including the Ambie nominated podcast entitled The Fckry. They have also teamed up to do projects such as writing a remake of Watermelon Man for Sony Tri-Star, the MTV Movie and TV Awards, NBC’s New Year’s Eve telecast live from Times Square, as well as TV commercials, personal appearances, award ceremonies, and SNL sketches. Lenny is also a contributing writer for her hilarious hosting appearances on The Daily Show. Currently they are working together on Roast My Rental for HGTV.
Lenny has seven stand-up comedy CDs, “You’re Getting a Zero” and “Idiots, Toasters, Meredith – and other things hazardous to your health”, “Vegan Cupcakes”, “Home and Away”, Amuses, Death and his latest entitled “The King is Here”.
Whether it’s appearing as the Pope on the Daily Show, an episode of FX’s Louie, with Louie CK, Inside Amy Schumer, The Nightly Show with Larry Wilmore, or MSG’s The Bracket, joking about New York sports, Lenny appears in a variety of roles on your television schedule. He has appeared on TruTV’s World’s Dumbest series, making fun of criminals. You may also have seen him in commercials for the MTV Video Movie Awards, Wendy’s and Marriott or heard some of his radio characters in commercials for Southwestern Bell Telephone or Priceline.com.
Lenny wrote, directed and starred in his most recent short film entitled The Walker. This film was screened at the Big Apple Film Festival. A Condom Moment, Lenny’s debut as a film writer/director, was shown at the PSNBC short film festival. He is currently the creator/co-star of the online web series Superstar Talent (www.SuperstarTalentAgency.com).
